EMDR intensives
EMDR Intensives offer a faster route to the advantages of EMDR therapy. Instead of weekly sessions spanning months or years, clients can achieve their goals in a matter of days. This accelerated approach allows for the addressing of substantial emotional stressors and promotes quicker healing. EMDR Intensives may range from 3-6 hours or span 1-3 days. If you’re curious about EMDR intensives or want to explore available packages, you’re welcome to continue below.
Because of the extensive research and healing effects of EMDR therapy, Intensives can produce faster results than weekly sessions using standard talk-therapy techniques. In many cases, Intensives can enhance work clients are already doing with a weekly therapist by creating space to focus on very specific parts of a client’s history or experience. If you find yourself feeling hopeless and repeating the same unhealthy behaviors or being tormented by past trauma, EMDR Intensives may be beneficial for you. The powerful healing effect of EMDR therapy, especially combined with Expressive Arts in an Intensive Healing environment, can produce faster results than standard talk-therapy techniques. Healing Immersions can help clients to process information faster and heal quicker.
Intensives can range from 3-6 hour sessions for 1-3 consecutive days, depending on need. The amount of time will be tailored for each client and their goals. During EMDR intensives, depending on Client’s needs, the therapist will integrate sand tray therapy, expressive arts, brainspotting and parts work if working on attachment wounds. Intensives are not for everyone. An assessment will be provided to determine readiness. If you are interested in exploring the idea of an Intensive, please reach out and I can help you decide if an intensive is right for you.
Small‑group intensives offer a supportive, contained space for shared grounding, resourcing, and EMDR‑informed work. Groups move gently, with a focus on connection, regulation, and collaborative healing.
Indoor group intensives are available throughout the year and provide a quiet, structured environment for deeper work.
Sessions may be scheduled in 2–3 hour blocks or as multi‑day formats, depending on the needs of the group.
Outdoor group intensives are offered only on select dates and provide a nature‑supported setting for grounding, reflection, and deeper integration.
These sessions may also be scheduled in 2–3 hour blocks or as multi‑day formats, depending on group needs and seasonal availability.
- Dedicate 1-3 days to focus on healing and you can accomplish more work because you don’t have to spend time every week with check ins, discussing current stressors, which takes time away from deep therapeutic EMDR processing. The pressure to make everything fit in an hour will be gone.
- No more weekly appointments: Stop scheduling your weeks around therapy sessions.
- Focused therapy without the distractions of ongoing weekly concerns eliminates disruption in treatment and the temptation to postpone your therapy.
- Cost effective: Intensives are highly concentrated and highly focused, sometimes requiring less time and overall cost to the client.
- Are you tired of feeling hopeless and repeating the same unhealthy behaviors or being tormented by past trauma? It’s time for you to have lasting change. Make you a priority. Take care of your mind and body. After your intensive, take time to treat yourself: go to the spa, a hike, or enjoy time on Pensacola’s beautiful white sandy beaches.

EMDR & nature‑integrated intensives
These intensives offer extended, focused time for deeper healing in a calm, supportive environment. Instead of squeezing meaningful work into a traditional 50‑minute session, you have the space to slow down, breathe, and move at the pace your nervous system needs.
EMDR and Brainspotting are woven together with somatic practices, grounding, and quiet reflection. When available, outdoor sessions allow the natural environment to support the work — offering a sense of spaciousness, regulation, and gentle internal settling.
Optional access to kayaks and paddleboards is offered on select dates to support embodied integration in a peaceful, nature‑supported setting. These elements are never recreational; they are used intentionally to deepen regulation and internal clarity.
Intensives are offered in 2–3 hour blocks or 1–3 day formats, with indoor and outdoor options depending on your needs and availability.
This experience is designed for those who want to go deeper, who feel stuck in weekly therapy, or who simply need uninterrupted time to tend to what has been weighing on them.
Outdoor / nature‑integrated: $185 per hour
(Outdoor sessions offered on select dates)
Individual intensives may be scheduled in 2–3 hour blocks or as 1–3 day formats for deeper, focused work.

Therapy for pastors and ministers
I offer a secure, confidential, and non-judgmental environment for pastors and ministry leaders to receive the counseling they need. Ministry leaders often suffer from burnout and depression due to neglecting their own needs while caring for others, leading to feelings of isolation. It’s common for leaders to think they need to have it all together, yet they face struggles because they are human. Many carry past hurts that continue to impact their current life and relationships. Others grapple with shame over previous decisions.
Therapy can relieve some of their burdens, providing a period of healing and rejuvenation. It assists pastors and ministry leaders in staying rejuvenated, prepared, and engaged in their work for the immediate and long-term future. I am here to offer support and a space where you can integrate your faith into the counseling process if you wish. I provide EMDR therapy, which can expedite healing and alleviate symptoms more rapidly than conventional talk therapy. Intensives are particularly beneficial for individuals with limited time.
EMDR group protocol
Group traumatic episode protocol was developed by Elan Shapiro to assist the natural recovery process of a single traumatic event. It can aid in building resilience if the event is ongoing. It can prevent complications from occurring and interfering in the natural healing process.
During Groups, participants will not discuss the traumatic event or distressing memories; however, clients will use bilateral stimulation techniques to address and desensitize persistent psychological, physiological, and emotional disturbances to allow adaptive functioning.
This is a one-time group that meets for 2-2.5 hours. Cost is $75.00 (8 to 10 per group).
EMDR Grief Group
This is a one-time group that meets for 2–2.5 hours. Participants do not need to discuss the details of their loss. Using EMDR and bilateral stimulation, each person works through their own experience internally, helping to reduce emotional and physical distress and support adaptive healing.
Tammy also offers EMDR grief and crisis support for families navigating loss. This approach can include parents and children participating together in a shared group setting, while each person processes their own experience individually. The structure creates a grounded, compassionate environment that supports stability, connection, and healing without requiring participants to share personal details aloud.
Cost is $75.00 (8 to 10 participants per group).
Courage to Tell Creative Arts Workshop
To reduce child trauma, it’s crucial to teach children about their value and worth, to equip and empower them to be assertive, and to encourage them to speak up when they are being harmed or violated. Children will acquire effective coping strategies to handle stress, develop skills to boost their self-esteem and enhance future safety.
This workshop incorporates expressive arts, enabling children to articulate their feelings through singing, dancing, drama, and art.
Stress management
This group convenes for a single session lasting 3 hours, concentrating on neuroscience, recognizing triggers and emotions, relaxation and coping strategies, addressing inaccurate and unhelpful thoughts, as well as enhancing communication skills.
The cost for this group is $75.00 per person (10 minimum, 30 maximum per group).
Christian women's wellness retreats
This is an event that focuses on the spirit, soul, and body and a time for women to be renewed, restored, and refreshed.
